Case Study#1: Brochure
Objective: Design a brochure for any topic of your choosing

The Process: I choose the 2015 indie hit game Undertale for my brochure. The game meant a lot to me and the games fans, so I decided to create a brochure to capture the interest of any gamer into playing undertale.
In the brochure I discuss the games main features into great detail, while capture the essence of the game in a way that any true fan of the work would understand. When in the creative process I first looked up Pinterest to get some ideas about how I wanted to stylize the brochure. After surfing through the many pins I made off of pinterest I got straight to work. From pinterest, it confirmed the plans I had in mind. What I had in mind was to create a design that captured the essence of the game which is atmosphere and character development. The game is all about making choices that alter the atmosphere and moral of the game. These a major pieces of the Undertale formula. As the game suggest, Undertale takes place in an underground civilization where the world is filled with caverns of characters consisting of “monsters”. Throughout your journey you are to piece together the different components that will make your journey successful. These components I added straight in the middle of the brochure: Patience, Justice, Integrity, Bravery, Kindness, Perseverance, and most importantly Determination. At first glance these might not translate, but when you truly take in the value of each individual word you will find solem within ones self. I feel as a fan of the game and as a designer I captured the vision that toby fox the creator of Undertale had in mind for his game. Given this is my earlier work, I feel currently with enough refining I can really push this further in the future.
